Choose a PDF to begin.
Choose a PDF and the page count appears. Type the pages you want to keep (or remove) as numbers and ranges, for example 1-3, 5, 8-10. The chosen pages are copied into a new PDF in your browser using pdf-lib, an open-source library (MIT licence). Your original file isn't changed.
Pages appear in the order you list them from the original, so you can also pull a few pages out of sequence. To join the results back together use the merge tool.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. It is opened and rewritten inside your browser.
How do I extract one page from a PDF?
Choose the file, type the page number (for example 4) in Pages, leave 'Keep only these pages' selected and press Make new PDF.
How do I delete pages from a PDF?
Type the pages to remove, choose 'Remove these pages' and make the new PDF. The original stays as it was.
Does it work on password-protected PDFs?
Not if the file needs a password to open. Save an unprotected copy first.
Will the quality drop?
No. The pages are copied as they are, so text stays sharp and images are not re-compressed.
Everything happens in your browser. Nothing you type or add is uploaded to us or anyone else, and the tool works with no account.
Free to use. Results are for convenience: check anything important before you rely on it.
