Merge PDF files
Join several PDFs into one, in the order you choose. It runs on your device, so confidential documents stay private and there's no file-size limit from a server.
Your PDFs
Add as many as you need, then put them in order.
Merge
Add two or more PDFs to begin.
Each PDF is read in your browser and its pages are copied, in order, into a new document using pdf-lib, an open-source library (MIT licence). The original files are not changed.
Bookmarks and form fields from the originals may not carry across, and password-protected PDFs need the password removed first. The page content (text, images, vector graphics) is kept as it is.
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. They're read and joined inside your browser. That makes this a safer choice for contracts, ID scans and anything private.
Is there a page or size limit?
No fixed limit. It depends on your device's memory; hundreds of pages are usually fine.
Can I reorder the files?
Yes. Use the arrows beside each file before pressing Merge.
It says it can't read a file.
The PDF is probably password-protected or damaged. Open it, save a copy without the password, and add that one.
Does it shrink the file?
No, the merged PDF is about the combined size. To reduce a PDF made from pictures, compress the pictures first with the image compressor.
Everything happens in your browser. Nothing you type or add is uploaded to us or anyone else, and the tool works with no account.
Free to use. Results are for convenience: check anything important before you rely on it.
