Put a UK calculator on your website

Nine free calculators from SortedDesk, one snippet each. Paste it into your page, and your visitors get a working UK tax, VAT, stamp duty or rental yield calculator that stays current with GOV.UK. It costs nothing; the link back to SortedDesk stays under it.

Get your snippet
Option 1: the script (recommended). It sizes the calculator to fit and keeps the link back.

Option 2: a plain iframe for platforms that block scripts. It has a fixed height.

WordPress: add a Custom HTML block and paste the snippet. Squarespace, Wix and Webflow: an Embed or Code block. Plain HTML: anywhere in the body. The calculator is responsive and works from 320px wide.

Terms

Free for any website, including commercial ones, for as long as the calculators exist. Keep the "by SortedDesk" link under the calculator, with or without our wording around it. Don't change the calculator's figures or wording, don't hide or shrink it, and don't present it as your own tool. The results are estimates to help people plan, not financial or tax advice, and we may change or retire a calculator at any time.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no API key and no fee. The one condition is that the "by SortedDesk" link stays under the calculator.

Can I remove the link?

Please don't. The link is what pays for the calculators. The snippet already contains it as ordinary text on your page, and if it is missing the script adds it back.

Do the rates stay up to date?

Yes. The embed loads the live calculator, so when the tax year changes and we update the rates (and we re-check them against GOV.UK), every embedded copy updates with no change on your side.

What happens to my visitors' data?

The figures people type stay in their browser. The one thing that can leave is an email address, if a visitor chooses to give one to see the full breakdown; it goes to our mailing list (Kit) and not to you. The embed sets no cookies and has no ads. Details: privacy.

Why is part of the result behind an email box?

On the six tax and property calculators the headline figure is always free; the full breakdown, dates and notes sit behind an optional email box. That is how we pay for building and updating them. VAT, compound interest and bank holidays are fully open.

It doesn't work on my platform.

Use the iframe snippet instead of the script. Some hosted site builders and forums strip script tags but allow iframes. If neither works, email us and we'll help.
